"We have a number of depots in Scotland, but only our Paisley branch stocks a full range of pumps and power generators in a combined offering of high-performance power generators with a full range of industrial pumps," said Les Scott, Director of Operations, SLD."For many projects, particularly in emergency flooding situations, there is a need to deploy pumps and generators as a package. These locations are often remote or have insufficient power on site to handle the additional load of pumps running 24/7.Investing in our generator fleet enables customers to quickly access everything they need to tackle such urgent and challenging situations to limit collateral damage and restore normal conditions."

With SLD's goal to adopt the latest renewable and sustainable solutions to minimise environment impact, all diesel-powered pumps and generators operate on low-emission hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) biodiesel fuel.HVO is made from 100% renewable raw materials, such as vegetable and animal oils, and reduces net carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90% compared with traditional mineral diesel.爱游戏体育app苹果版本Forward-thinking environmental investments such as SLD's new power generator fleet support Carrier's commitment to sustainable solutions, as laid out in its 2030 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Goals.
